Skills: Karasu is a trained samurai.  He specializes in anti-ninja fighting techniques, and is a master of numerous sword styles.  He possesses enhanced strength, enhanced toughness, and enhanced reaction speed.  He has honed chakra control, utilizing chakra to augment his already impressive combat skills. Within the Land of Iron, he has the fastest time switching between types of chakra flow.

Weaknesses: Since he is a samurai and not a ninja, he is susceptible to mid to long ranged ninjutsu and to a certain extent genjutsu.  He is built as a tank, so he is slower than most.

Equipment:
Armor: Standard issue Iron Samurai armor.  No goggles over eyes, but maintains respirator and radio.
Weapons:  Four standard issue wakizashi.  Iron crossbow with a quiver of bolts. Several slips of explosive seals. On his back there seems to be a tsurugi blade he named "Hane".



Personality:  Like most samurai, he practices neutrality to other ninjas that come to the Land of Iron.  He will only react when threatened or attacked.  Follows a code of conduct, which can enable or disable him in situations.  He is persistent on topics of interest and will ignore all else.  His straightforward nature tends to make him speak truthfully and blatantly. His missions are his priorities

Strengths: He cannot be corrupted for political means, and refuses to commit acts of sabotage or mutiny.  This doesn't mean he won't ignore acts of injustice.  Such things are "the ninjas task".

Weakness: Women.  He respects women, but becomes anxious around them.  He can be easily called a pervert.

History: Karasu was born into the cold Land of Iron to a family of samurai.  As he grew up, he grew to learn how to wield a blade and understand chakra flow.  He was given spartan-like training to understand many   While he was learning such techniques, the Land of Iron saw the dying off of it's military force.  The last few houses that maintained the lineage of samurai blood was viewed as "holding the old ways" and considered a service not needed in a world of peace between nations.  Many houses turned against the nation that abandoned them, and struck out in revolution.  Karasu's first mission was to reclaim the captured capital from a fallen house that killed the current general.  It was this mission that revealed his combat skills on the field.  With his small force behind him, they overtook the capital with minimal casualties.  But it was the next few weeks that proved tasking, as the remaining fallen houses moved onto their position.  His men had to hold the capital until a reinforcement of ninjas could assist.  It was his stalwart defense and leadership that held against the siege, even to the point that they were able to lead a counter attack in the middle of a stormy night.  Despite it being three to one odds against him and his men, the ambush forced the enemy surrender without reinforcement.

His house has appointed him General-Regent of the Land of Iron due to his strategic victory, and it is now his duty to bring back peace.
