Other Traits: Yanagi almost always has a kimono on. Yanagi can also be kind of shy, but she's a fierce fighter.



Elemental Natures: Wind - Fire - Scorch

Skills: Yanagi is an absolute taijutsu monster, and uses her elements to augment her abilities. She is long time rival with Haruka, but is as friendly as she could hope to be with her. It's a rivalry, not a blood feud.

Weaknesses: Her Shakuton (Scorch Release) is especially weak to Suiton (Water Release). Her Shakuton can help her but she's very ineffective against long range fighters unless she can get a good bead on them. If she uses Shakuton to augment her taijutsu so much she can hurt her hands and feet to the point of being rendered harmless in battle and hospitalized for a few weeks. She doesn't have a very high tolerance for pain. Fractures are at least manageable, but when she gets some broken bones she can shut down pretty easily.

Equipment: Two tanto, plenty of kunai and shuriken, food pills for long trips in the desert, and plenty of water pills.




Personality: As aforementioned, Yanagi can be a little shy when it comes to social interactions, but that fades whenever someone's being unjust. She'll stand up for her beliefs, and she doesn't like the bullying/subjugation of others.

Strengths: She's very confident in her taijutsu, which is reflective of baguazhang, but when she gets serious and her life's on the line she'll take a stance reminiscent of xing yi quan, which is more reckless but powerful.

Interests/Habits: You can find her training a lot in her taijutsu.




Family Members: All of her family are deceased due to missions for Sunagakure. She lives alone and supports herself.

History: Yanagi leads a fairly normal life. She was born to two parents, and loved them dearly, but Sunagakure needed them for a mission, and they died on it. Since then she's lived alone. She mourns her parents but it's a long way behind her now, and she can take care of herself. She formed a rivalry with Haruka, but she is her closest friend. She is being trained by the current Kazekage, and she truly appreciates it, and works the hardest she can to become a fine shinobi of Sunagakure one day.
